Job Title:         Marketing Executive (part time, 30 hours)

Location:         Ballincollig, Cork.

Babyboo.ie is an online company based in Ballincollig, Co Cork.  We are a worldwide brand who create organic baby and children’s wear.  Our purpose is to create unique, functional and sustainable products to make life more comfortable for our little customers.

We are currently growing our workforce and need help growing the brand and it’s visibility across all media. Reporting to the owners, the ideal candidate will be available to work 30 hours per week in our warehouse in Ballincollig.

The Role:

As Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns, growing our social media presence, driving traffic to our website (WooCommerce), and supporting promotional activities in-store and online. You’ll work closely with our small, friendly team and have the opportunity to make a real impact.

Duties:

• Plan, create, and manage digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and paid advertising.
• Grow and engage our social media community (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
• Creating video content relevant to each channel and driving traffic to the website
• Manage website content updates, promotions, and product launches (WooCommerce experience an advantage).
• Analyse marketing performance and report on KPIs.
• Collaborate with our customer service and sales team to ensure a consistent brand voice and excellent customer journey.
• Identify appropriate partners for collaboration/competitions or gifting within the sector
• Photographing and adding products to the website
• Ensuring the website reflects current campaigns, updating imagery and updating SEO information to reflect seasonal campaigns and new products. Liaising with graphic designer to ensure campaigns are timely.
• Attends and assists at events when available including creation of content at events
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Skills and Experience;

• A marketing/business/communications qualification is essential for this role.
• You should have 2+ years experience with the primary social media channels in a B2C work environment and have a strong interest in building a career in marketing and content creation.
• You should be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of how retail businesses grow and develop online by using digital channels.
• Excellent written and oral skills are a key requirement as well as a flair for content creation and video editing.
• You must be a self-starter and be able to prioritise work, you will also be familiar with Google Analytics, WordPress, Woocommerce, Meta advertising, Tiktok, Klaviyo, Canva or other image/video editing apps, Drive and Excel.
• Knowledge of the baby/parenting sector is a plus, but not essential.
