Is BabyBoo an Irish company?
Yes. BabyBoo is an Irish-owned and operated baby brand, founded by two Irish mums. We are based in Ballincollig, County Cork, where our team manages customer service, orders, personalisation, design, stock and day-to-day operations.

BabyBoo is an Irish baby brand based in Ballincollig, County Cork. We were founded by two Irish mums and design and sell baby clothing, accessories, blankets, sleeping products and personalised baby gifts for families in Ireland and around the world.
Who founded BabyBoo?
BabyBoo was founded by two Irish mums, Michelle and Vicki. The business grew from their experience as parents and their desire to create practical, beautifully designed baby products that families would love to use and give as gifts.
Where is BabyBoo located?
BabyBoo is based in Ballincollig, County Cork, Ireland. We offer Click & Collect from our warehouse Monday to Friday between 9am and 1pm. Our eircode is P31 X754.
Does BabyBoo offer Click & Collect?
Yes. BabyBoo offers Click & Collect from our Ballincollig warehouse. Collection is available Monday to Friday between 9am and 1pm. Orders are generally ready within two working days, and you'll receive an email when your order is ready to collect.
What does BabyBoo sell?
BabyBoo specialises in baby essentials and thoughtful gifts, including bibs, baby blankets, sleeping bags, swaddles, baby clothing, knitwear, personalised baby products and luxury gift boxes. We also offer Irish-themed, GAA, christening, baby shower and first birthday gifts.
Where are BabyBoo products made?
BabyBoo products are manufactured by carefully selected manufacturing partners in different countries, depending on the product. For example, our bibs are manufactured in Turkey using GOTS/OCS-certified organic cotton, alongside other materials that meet recognised independent standards, including OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified materials. We work with our manufacturing partners to maintain the quality, safety and certification standards we require.
Why don’t you manufacture them in Ireland?
We would love to manufacture more of our products in Ireland, but we have not yet found Irish textile manufacturing facilities able to produce some of our products to the quality, specification and price required. We continue to explore opportunities to work with Irish manufacturers where the right facilities and capabilities are available.
Are BabyBoo products tested for safety?
Yes. Safety is an important consideration when we develop and select BabyBoo products. Where applicable, products are independently tested against the relevant safety standards, and we work with manufacturing partners who meet the certifications and standards required for our products. Specific safety information and certifications are provided on individual product pages where relevant.
Are BabyBoo products made from organic cotton?
BabyBoo products are made using GOTS-certified organic cotton. We choose organic cotton because it is soft against a baby's skin and because GOTS certification provides assurance about the organic fibres and responsible processing involved. Product pages specify the materials and certifications applicable to each individual product.
What does GOTS-certified organic cotton mean?
GOTS stands for the Global Organic Textile Standard. GOTS certification sets requirements for organic fibres as well as environmental and social criteria throughout textile processing. At BabyBoo, we choose GOTS-certified organic cotton for many of our products as part of our focus on quality, comfort and responsible manufacturing.
What certifications apply to BabyBoo bibs?
Our bibs are made using GOTS/OCS-certified organic cotton, alongside materials that meet recognised independent standards. The polyester used in our bibs is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. We also use water-based printing dyes and nickel-free poppers.
Does BabyBoo make good newborn gifts?
Yes. BabyBoo specialises in thoughtful gifts for newborn babies, including personalised blankets, bibs, baby clothing, swaddles and luxury gift boxes. Our newborn gifts are designed to be both useful and special, making them suitable for new babies, baby showers and welcoming a new arrival.
Can I send a BabyBoo gift directly to someone else?
Yes. You can send BabyBoo gifts directly to the recipient, making them particularly convenient for newborn gifts, baby showers, christenings and gifts for family and friends living elsewhere. You can also add gift wrapping to selected orders
Can BabyBoo products be personalised?
Yes. BabyBoo offers a wide range of personalised baby products, including bibs, blankets, cardigans, knitwear, robes, hooded towels, loungewear and gift boxes. Depending on the product, you can personalise items with a baby's name, initials, date or other text, and some products also offer personalised icons or designs.
What personalised baby gifts does BabyBoo sell?
Our personalised baby gifts include organic cotton baby blankets, personalised bibs, cardigans, knitwear, robes, hooded towels, loungewear and personalised gift boxes. They are popular choices for newborn gifts, baby showers, christenings, first birthdays and other special occasions
Can I cancel a personalised order?
Personalised products are made specifically to your requirements and may not be eligible for cancellation once personalisation or production has started. You can request cancellation before personalisation or production begins. Please see our Personalised Products Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy for full details.
Does BabyBoo offer gift wrapping?
Yes. Gift wrapping is available on selected BabyBoo products and gifts. You can choose gift wrapping where it is offered on the product or during the ordering process.
What TOG sleeping bags does BabyBoo sell?
BabyBoo offers baby sleeping bags in different TOG ratings, including 1.0 TOG and 2.5 TOG options. The appropriate TOG rating depends on the temperature of your baby's sleeping environment and the clothing worn underneath. Always follow the product's specific guidance and safe-sleep recommendations.
What is a 2.5 TOG sleeping bag?
A 2.5 TOG sleeping bag is designed for cooler sleeping environments and is generally used during colder months or in rooms within the temperature range specified by the manufacturer. BabyBoo's SnuggleBoo 2.5 TOG sleeping bag has sleeves and is designed to provide warmth while your baby sleeps.
What age are BabyBoo sleeping bags suitable for?
BabyBoo sleeping bags are available in different sizes to suit different ages and stages. Please check the individual SnuggleBoo product page for the recommended age, weight and/or height range for each size before purchasing.
Why poppers and not velcro?
We use poppers because they are durable, easy to use and don't catch on other clothing in the washing machine or tumble dryer. Our bibs are designed to be used repeatedly and fit children up to around three years old, depending on the style.
Do you wholesale your bibs or sell into shops?
We do, we’re in quite a few shops already and happy to stock others so get in touch if you’re interested.
Do you sell outside Ireland?
Yes. BabyBoo ships internationally and our products can be ordered from many countries around the world. Delivery options and costs vary depending on the destination and are shown during checkout.
