Our Commitment to Human Rights
Public statement · aligned to the B Corp standard (Human Rights)
BabyBoo (MORVOC Ltd, trading as babyboo.ie) is committed to respecting human rights across our business and value chain. We recognise our responsibility to avoid causing or contributing to adverse human rights impacts, and to work with our partners to uphold the dignity, safety and fair treatment of everyone connected to our business — our employees, the workers in our supply chain, our customers and our community.
In making this commitment, we respect and align our practices with the following internationally recognised frameworks:
The United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs);
The International Bill of Human Rights, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights; and
The International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work — including the elimination of forced and child labour, freedom of association, and the elimination of discrimination in employment.
How we put this into practice
We work to uphold this commitment through the everyday choices we make as a business:
We provide our own employees with fair, transparent employment — written contracts, pay above the living wage, and clear communication of wages and benefits.
We work with audited manufacturing partners and prioritise ethical production standards, using certified materials such as OEKO-TEX® and GOTS.
We consider potential human rights impacts when making our most significant sourcing and procurement decisions.
We treat our customers and community with fairness and respect, and welcome any concerns raised with us.
We keep this commitment under review and will strengthen our practices as our business grows.
