Job Title: Order Production Assistant
Terms: Part time, 20 hours per week, 9.30-1.30 Monday to Friday
Location: Ballincollig, Cork. Babyboo.ie is an online company based in Ballincollig, Co Cork. We are a worldwide brand who create organic baby and children’s wear.
Our purpose is to create unique, functional and sustainable products to make life more comfortable for our little customers. We are currently growing our workforce and need help sending our products to our little customers. Reporting to the Team Lead, the ideal candidate will be available to work mornings in our warehouse in Ballincollig.
The Role
This is a hands-on, warehouse-based role involving the preparation and packing of customer orders.
You will work through orders on our ecommerce system, pick items from stock, carefully check each product, and prepare orders for dispatch, including branding and personalisation where required.
Important:
This role involves repetitive, detail-focused work. This role will suit someone who enjoys routine tasks and takes pride in getting things right as accuracy is essential.
Duties
- Manage and process customer orders in a timely manner
- Pick items from shelves based on size, colour, quantity and product type
- Quality check all products before packing
- Prepare and pack orders according to customer instructions
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
- Assist with stock control and stock replenishment
- Support ongoing stocktakes
- Pack wholesale orders as required
- Assist with general warehouse duties and occasional business needs
The Person
- Comfortable working on repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
- Able to follow processes consistently and work independently
- Reliable and organised, with good time management
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, online systems)
- Previous experience in a similar role (production, warehouse or retail) is beneficial
- Experience with Shopify, embroidery or sewing is an advantage but not essential
The Person: Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial, this might be in an assembly line/production environment or busy retail environment for example. A very high level of accuracy is essential to this role. Must be a self-starter and be able to prioritise work, be highly computer literate, very familiar with excel, word, Google Drive and email. Shopify and either embroidery or sewing experience would be a distinct advantage, although specific training will be provided. We are a small team, so good communication skills are necessary, a positive attitude and an ability to work well with others. Guaranteed part-time hours with a consistent weekday schedule.
